Curriculum Vitae

Karam Luthra Singh

IB Diploma Candidate  ·  Founder, Finolingo & Only.man.city  ·  Researcher  ·  Debater

I build things at the intersection of finance, media, and civic organising. I founded Finolingo, a free financial-literacy platform for young people, funded by revenue from Only.man.city, a video-editing community I grew to 90,000 followers. Through Finolingo I also run Scam Signal, a social-media campaign raising awareness of how widespread scams are in India. Outside of building, I lead four student organisations at the American Embassy School, compete internationally in Model UN and debate, and published independent research on air pollution as a market failure. Currently completing the IB Diploma, IB predicted 44/45, with an SAT score of 1550, graduating in 2027.

Founder — Scam Signal
Powered by Finolingo
Scam Signal started at home. When my grandparents were targeted by a scam, I saw how easily it can happen and how many families across India face the same risk. The campaign uses social media to show how prevalent scams are and to help people spot one before it costs them.
  • Creates short-form social-media content breaking down how common scams in India work and the warning signs behind them
  • Speaks to families and older adults, who are often the ones targeted, and to the younger relatives who can warn them
  • Extends Finolingo's financial-literacy mission from managing money to protecting it
